REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove Mercedes star.   AR88.40-P-4053ME
3 Unclip Active Brake Assist controller unit (A108).    
4 Release and disconnect electrical connector o Active Brake Assist controller unit (A108).    
5 Install in the reverse order.    
6 Commission Active Brake Assist controller unit (A108). If the Active Brake Assist controller unit (A108 has been replaced.  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
  Calibrate     
7 Perform calibration of Active Brake Assist controller unit (A108) with vehicle diagnosis system. When replacing or after changes to the sensor, bracket, the bumper or the radiator grille.
