	Remove
1	Remove center and rear lower engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105FRX
2	Unscrew drain screw, drain hypoid gear oil from front axle differential (1) and collect with a suitable container.

3	Remove right front axle shaft.		AR33.30-P-0620MNI
4	Pull radial shaft sealing ring (2) out of front axle differential (1) using internal extractor, pull-off device and impact extractor.	Connect the internal extractor and impact extractor to the threaded rod of the pull-off device.

	Check
5	Check seat of radial shaft sealing ring (2) for damage.	If damage is found, ↓ replace front axle differential (1).	AR33.30-P-0620MNI
	Install
6	Install radial shaft sealing ring (2) using drift.

7	Moisten sealing lip of radial shaft sealing ring (2) with transmission oil.
	Universal hypoid gear oils (specification 235.7)		BB00.40-P-0235-07A
8	Clean thread of drain screw in housing of front axle differential (1).	Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray	*BR00.45-Z-1046-04A
9	Screw drain screw into front axle differential (1).	Replace sealing ring and drain screw.
		Front axle transmission drain screw	*BA33.30-P-1008-03G
10	Fill front axle differential (1) with hypoid gear oil through the front axle shaft opening.

11	Install right front axle shaft.	Only install center and rear lower rear engine compartment lining again after leak test.	AR33.30-P-0620MNI
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run while checking front axle differential (1) for leak tightness and proper operation.
