Location 

The stationary heater control unit is integrated into the stationary heater unit. The stationary heater unit is located behind the right fender wheel arch liner.

Task 

The stationary heater control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of signals 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line 

The signals from the following components are read via direct lines:

IMPORTANT If the coolant outlet temperature exceeds a value of 130°C, the stationary heater is switched off due to overheating. If the overheating shut-off is repeated 10 times, the stationary heater is shut off followed by an overheating interlock.

Climate control LIN 2 

The stationary heater control unit also reads in the following information over the climate control LIN 2:

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

The following components are actuated via direct lines:

The stationary heater control unit sends the following information or requests, among other things, via climate control LIN 2:
