REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove center and rear sections of lower engine compartment lining. Engine 256.9 in model 213, 238 AR61.20-P-1105LWE
    Engine 256.9 in model 290 AR61.20-P-1105FRX
    Engine 256.9 in model 257 AR61.20-P-1105FR
2 Support transmission (4).    
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 24 62 00 Major assembly mount   WS01.00-P-0253B
REFER TO SPECIAL TOOLS 000 588 23 62 00 Mounting plate   WS26.00-P-0415B
3 Unscrew nuts (1c). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 256.9 in model 238 except code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive)

Rear engine mount to engine support		 *BA22.10-P-1004-03O 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 256.9 in model 213, 257, 290
Rear engine mount to engine support		 *BA22.10-P-1004-03N 
4 Remove screws (2a) and remove engine carrier (2). NOTES
Never use an impact wrench/driver or compressed air tools for unscrewing or screwing in the screw/bolts (2a).
Otherwise, threads are damaged.		  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 256.9 in model 238

Bolt, rear engine support to body		 *BA22.10-P-1005-03O 
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Engine 256.9 in model 213, 257, 290
Bolt, rear engine support to body		 *BA22.10-P-1005-03N 
5 Install in the reverse order.
