| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove upper engine cover. | ||
| 2 | Remove left charge air temperature sensor (B17/14) from the charge-air distributor (6). | ||
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (5). | ||
| 4 | Seal opening on the charge-air distributor (6) with suitable stop plug. | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Check the sealing ring of the charge-air temperature sensor on the left (B17/14) for damage. | If complaints are present, ↓ replace the charge-air temperature sensor on the left (B17/14). |

| 6 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 7 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
