The pressure and temperature sensor upstream of throttle valve (1) detects the pressure and temperature conditions in the charge air pipe.
Function
The intake air pressure and the intake air temperature act on a piezoresistive operating sensor chip. The electronics of sensor chip generate a signal voltage that is provided to the combustion engine control unit.
