- Press in new pilot bushing using a suitable drift.
Observe the pressing-in dimension (a) from the front of the pilot bushing to the flange. The specified press-in distance (a) may deviate depending on the thickness of the flexible couplings, e.g. in vehicles with vibration damper. In these cases use the dimension (a) measured prior to removal for installation.
