| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Open armrest covers. | ||
| 3 | Remove stowage box cover (1). | Cover center console with a rag. Otherwise, the center console may be damaged. |

| 4 | Remove screws (3) at center console cover (2). | ||
| 5 | Lift center console cover (2) at rear and move out of instrument panel until electrical connectors (4) can be accessed. | Cover center console and instrument panel with a cloth. Center console and instrument panel may otherwise be damaged. |

| 6 | Disconnect electrical connections (4). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical wiring harness (5) and expose. | ||
| 8 | Remove center console cover (2). | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order. |
