Prepare carbon roof for installation 

Do not touch hatched area with bare fingers. Keep free from dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues, and other adhesive components.

The strength of the adhesively bonded connection is otherwise impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.

Only use materials from repair kit approved and always observe processing notes included.

1. Check carbon roof (1) for damage.

   If damage is present,

   ↓

   Replace carbon roof (1).

2. Install the cup suction tools on the outside of the carbon roof (1).

   Commercially available devices/tools 

   Cup suction tool

3. Place carbon roof (1) on suitable subsurface with inside pointing upward.

   Helper required.

4. Clean bonding surface (crosshatched area) on the carbon roof (1).

   Apply cleaner only on the bonding surface (crosshatched area) and allow to dry completely.

5. Apply primer to bonding surface (crosshatched area).

   Observe processing notes for primer. Flash-off time min. 10 minutes.

   Otherwise, the adhesive material may have adhesion problems.
