The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.
- Cut out triangular opening of the application hose so that the adhesive can be applied with a height of approx. 13 mm and a width of approx. 8 mm.
- Guide application hose in the hatched areas along the body flange; in doing so, press out adhesive evenly.
Immediately remove contamination caused by the adhesive. Immediately press out all excess adhesive from the cartridges after the end of application and dispose of it as per local environmental protection regulations.
- Place carbon roof (1) onto body flange with cup suction tools and align using the gap dimensions with
the feeler gauge and fix in place.
After applying the adhesive material, position the carbon roof (1) on the body flange within 10 min. and fix it in place in its final installation position.
Otherwise required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.
Otherwise the strength of the adhesively bonded connection (hatched areas) will be impaired and the required adhesion of the adhesive material is not ensured.
- Install roof frame mounting supports.
After curing time of adhesive material.
- Install the nuts (2).
After curing time of adhesive material.
- Screw in the screws (3).
