Adjust Windshield Wiper System - AR82.30-P-0001-01FR

	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A

Use the following special tools:

Angle gauge from adjustment tool set (211 589 02 21 00)

Extraction hook (140 589 02 33 00)

Adapter (205 589 00 21 00)

The windshield wiper system may only be adjusted if the check values of both wiper arms deviate from the tolerance range in the parked position.

1. Mount angle gauge with adapter onto driver-side wiper arm.
2. Move engine into upright position.
3. Release bolt (1).
4. Remove cover (2).
5. Hook extraction hook at linkage of windshield wiper system (arrow).
6. Move windshield wiper system with extraction hook until correct set value is achieved on scale of angle gauge.
7. Tighten bolt (1).
8. Remove angle gauge with adapter from driver-side wiper arm.
9. Install cover (2).
10. Close hood.
