	Measure
1	Carry out input measurement.	Model 290	AR40.20-P-0200FRX
		Model 257	AR40.20-P-0200FR
	Check
2	Remove engine compartment lining from center and front.	Model 290	AR61.20-P-1105FRX
		Model 257	AR61.20-P-1105FR
3	Check center position of steering gear.	The steering wheel must be in the center position as soon as the steering gear is in the center position.	AR46.20-P-0500-01FR
		In the event of a problem, ↓ Check basic setting of steering wheel.
			AR46.10-P-0100FR
	Adjust
4	Insert holding device (055) in front of sun visor and fix steering wheel in place.	Protect the emblem in the steering wheel against damage. Otherwise the holding device (055) may make an indent on the emblem.
		Retainer device	Fig 1
5	Loosen counternut (2) of tie rod (1).	Counterhold the tie rod (1). The tie rod (1) will otherwise be damaged.
6	Adjust toe by turning the inner tie rod.	Assign suspension data Model 290	AR40.20-P-0203FX
		Assign suspension data Model 257	AR40.20-P-0203FR
		Make sure that the boots are not twisted.
7	Tighten counternut (2). Note on calculation of tightening torque when using insertion or socket tools with various effective lengths		AH00.00-P-0015-01CW
		Counterhold the tie rod (1). The tie rod (1) will otherwise be damaged.
		Jam nut, tie rod to inner tie rod	*BA46.40-P-1002-01P
8	Install engine compartment lining at center and front.	Model 290	AR61.20-P-1105FRX
		Model 257	AR61.20-P-1105FR
9	Remove holding device (055).
	Measure
10	Carry out output measurement.	Model 290	AR40.20-P-0200FRX
		Model 257	AR40.20-P-0200FR
