	Remove
1	Remove engine compartment lining from center and front.		AR61.20-P-1105FRX
2	Remove front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
3	Unscrew nut (2) from strut rod (1).	The ball head must be counterheld and an impact wrench/driver must not be used. Otherwise the ball head or steering knuckle (4) becomes damaged.
4.1	Turn steering all the way to the right.	When removing the left strut rod (1).
4.2	Turn steering all the way to the left.	When removing the right strut rod (1).
5	Remove strut rod (1) from steering knuckle (4).
6	Unscrew nut (3), pull out bolt (7) and remove strut rod (1) from front axle carrier (5).
	Check
7	Check seal bellows and ball head of strut rod (1) for damage.	In the event of a problem, ↓ replace the strut rod (1).
8	Check elastomer bearing in strut rod (1) for damage.
	Evaluation of elastomer bearings	In the event of a problem, ↓ replace the strut rod (1).	AH00.10-P-0001-01A
	Install
9	Position strut rod (1) into front axle carrier (5) and insert bolt (7).
10.1	Turn steering all the way to the left.	When installing right strut rod (1).
10.2	Turn steering all the way to the right.	When installing left strut rod (1).
11	Install strut rod (1) into steering knuckle (4) and tighten nut (2).	Nut, strut rod to steering knuckle	*BA33.20-P-1003-01U
12	Tighten nut (3).	Bolt, strut rod to front axle carrier	*BA33.20-P-1004-01U
13	Mount front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
14	Install engine compartment lining at center and front.		AR61.20-P-1105FRX
