	Remove/install
1	Remove corresponding front wheel.		AR40.10-P-1102A
2	Drain pressure in AIR BODY CONTROL system using vehicle diagnosis system.	Model 290 with code 489 (AIR BODY CONTROL)

3	Unhook electrical lines (8) from holder (9) and place to one side.
4	Unscrew nut (4) and remove suspension strut (5) from spring link (2).	Screw must be inserted from rear towards front. Otherwise the brake or the rim may be damaged.
		Route suspension strut (5) on spring control arm (2) in suspension strut linkage area to one side. Otherwise the elastomer boot on the suspension strut joint may be damaged.
		Nut, suspension strut to spring control arm	*BA32.25-P-1002-04P
5	Remove stabilizer bar from front axle.	The torsion bar linkage remains installed on the stabilizer bar.	AR32.35-P-2200FRA
6	Unscrew nut (6) and remove spring link (2) from front axle carrier (7).	Bolt, spring control arm to front axle carrier	*BA33.20-P-1002-01U
7	Unscrew nut (1), take spring link (2) off steering knuckle (3) and remove.	Counterhold the ball head and do not use an impact wrench/driver. Otherwise the ball head or steering knuckle (3) may be damaged.
		Nut, spring control arm to steering knuckle	*BA33.20-P-1001-01U
8	Remove holder (9) from spring link (2).	When replacing the spring control arm (2).
	Check
9	Check seal bellows and ball head of spring link (2) for damage.	In the event of a problem, ↓ Replace spring link (2).
10	Check suspension strut linkage on spring link (2) for damage	In the event of a problem, ↓ Replace spring link (2).
11	Check supporting joint in spring link (2) for damage.	In the event of a problem, ↓ Replace spring link (2).
12	Install in the reverse order.
13	Perform chassis alignment.		AR40.20-P-0200FRX
