| 1 | Move steering wheel (6) all the way upward. | ||
| 2 | Disconnect ground line from battery. | AR54.10-P-0003FR | |
| 3.1 | Insert hexagon socket screwdriver (1) into right and left opening (arrow) on steering wheel (6) and push corresponding end of spring (2) inwards until the driver's airbag (4) is released. | Model 257 up to model year 2021 Model 290 |

| 4 | Release safety spring (9) of driver's airbag (4) using extraction hook (7) in direction of arrow and lift off steering wheel (6). | Model 257 as of model year 2021 |

| 5 | Remove driver's airbag (4) then release and disconnect electrical connector (3). | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. |

| 6 | Dispose of driver's airbag (4) properly. | When replacing driver's airbag (4). | |
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
