General 

The touchscreen is the central control element for numerous functions in the rear passenger compartment and is connected to the vehicle's network architecture.

The touchscreen is located in the rear passenger compartment center console between the rear seats.

Function requirements

Function 

Depending on the equipment installed, the touchscreen provides, among other things, the following functions:

• Rear air conditioning
• Rear passenger compartment seat functions
• Roof functions
• Selection and operation of audio sources, including volume, mute function
• Tone settings
• Ambiance illumination
• Touchscreen settings (language, brightness, time period for automatic standby in case of inactivity)

The touchscreen provides the vehicle occupants in the rear passenger compartment with a wealth of vehicle data via the AMG menu, including, e.g. the following:

• Engine torque
• Engine output
• Oil temperature
• Transmission temperature
• Transmission mode
• Steering wheel angle
• Status of accelerator pedal, brake pedal and damper
• Drive torque
• Centrifugal forces
