TAILLAMP Reinforcement Install And Weld In - Ar63.20-P-2011-03FRX

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

Additional information can be found in the superordinate service document.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Install rear lamp reinforcement (1), fit and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes in rear lamp reinforcement (1) with ø 6.7 mm and countersink (areas A).
3. Drill rivet holes in rear lamp reinforcement (1) with ø 6.7 mm (area B).
4. Remove rear lamp reinforcement (1).
5. Deburr rivet holes on rear lamp reinforcement (1) and body on both sides.
6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (areas A, B).

7. Install rear lamp reinforcement (1) and fix in place.
8. Rivet rear lamp reinforcement (1) with countersunk-head rivets ø 6.4x14.0 (areas C).
9. Rivet rear lamp reinforcement (1) with rivets ø 6.4x12 (area E).
10. Rear lamp reinforcement (1) (areas F).
11. Rear lamp reinforcement (1) (areas D).
