Rear Side Wall Paneling Bottom Installation - Ar63.10-P-5665-03FRX

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

Additional information can be found in the superordinate service document.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Install rear side wall paneling bottom section (1), fit and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes in rear side wall paneling lower section (1) with ø 6.7 mm (areas A, B).

   Drill rivet holes through existing holes in body (area A).

3. Remove rear side wall paneling lower section (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes on rear side wall paneling lower section (1) and on body on both sides.
5. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (areas A, B).

6. Apply 2-component adhesive to body in cross-hatched area.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

7. Install rear side wall paneling lower section (1) and fix in place.
8. Rivet rear side wall paneling lower section (1) with rivets ø 6.4x12 (areas D).
9. Rivet rear side wall paneling lower section (1) with rivet ø 6.5x12.5 (area E).
10. Rear side wall paneling lower section (1) (areas C).
