Rear Inner Wheel Well Installation - Ar63.10-P-0670-04LWE

Model 213, 290 

IMPORTANT The next steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle on model 213.0 and must be performed in the same way on the right side in the event of damage.

The higher-level service document as well as the safety information in the service document must be observed.

  1. Install wheel well (1), fit and fix in place.
  2. Drill rivet holes in the wheel well (1) with a diameter of 6.7 mm (areas A, A1 , and B).

    IMPORTANT Drill rivet holes from inside through present holes in body (areas A).

    Drill rivet holes through present hole in body (area B).

  3. Remove wheel well (1).
  4. Deburr rivet holes on wheel well (1) and body on both sides.
  5. Remove drilling chips.
  6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (area B).

  7. Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.

    IMPORTANT Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.

    Riveting areas on model 213.0/1 

  8. Install wheel well (1) and fix in place.
  9. Model 213.0/1

    Rivet wheel well (1) with rivets ø 6.5x12.5 (areas C).

  10. Model 213.0/1

    Rivet wheel well (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.4 M6 (areas D, E).

    Rivet wheel well (1) with rivets with a diameter of 6.4 M6 (areas G, I).

  12. Model 213.2, 290
