, E, F, G, H).
Drill rivet holes in inner roof frame (4) from outside (areas D2 , F, H).
The rivet holes must be drilled offset by approx. 5 mm toward the inside in relation to the standard resistance points in the direction of the vehicle center (areas E, G).
The rivet hole must be drilled offset by approx. 20 mm relative to the series resistance point toward the rear against the direction of travel (area H).
- Remove inner roof frame (4).
- Deburr rivet holes on the inner roof frame (4) and the body on both sides.
- Remove drilling chips.
- Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint (areas D1 , D2 , E, F).
- Apply 2-component adhesive to body in crosshatched areas.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and manufacturer's specifications for drying and processing time of 2-component adhesive.
- Install inner roof frame (4) and fix in place.
- Rivet inner roof frame (4) form outside with countersunk-head rivets ø 6.4x15.5 (areas J1 , O).
- Rivet inner roof frame (4) with rivets ø 6.5x14.5 (areas J2
, K, L, M, N).
Do not connect inner roof frame (4) with roof paneling and side wall paneling (areas K, M).
Rivet inner roof frame (4) from outside (areas J2 , L, N).
- Seal holes in roof paneling with sealant after riveting of inner roof frame (4) from outside (areas K, M).
- Inner roof frame (4)
(areas P).
- Inner roof frame (4)
(areas Q).
