Adjust Rear Door Side Window Height - AR67.30-P-0016-01FR

Adjusting window guide depth (a) of rear door side window (1) in roof edge seal (20), shown on model 257 

  1. Close rear door.
  2. Insert a screwdriver (21) between door paneling (22) and rear door side window (1) in setting screw (arrow C) of front mount (24) of window lifter (23).
  3. Adjust window guide depth (a) of rear door side window (1) in roof frame seal (20) by turning setting screw (arrow C).

    IMPORTANT Turning the setting screw (arrow C) clockwise results in a lowering of the rear door side window (1) at front.

    Turning the setting screw (arrow C) counterclockwise results in a raising of the rear door side window (1) at front.

  4. Insert a screwdriver (21) between door paneling (22) and rear door side window (1) into setting screw (arrow D) of rear mount (25) of window lifter (23).
  5. Adjust window guide depth (a) of rear door side window (1) in roof frame seal (20) by turning setting screw (arrow D).

    IMPORTANT Turing the setting screw (arrow D) clockwise results in a lowering of the rear door side window (1) at rear.

    Turning the setting screw (arrow D) counterclockwise results in a raising of the rear door side window (1) at rear.

    IMPORTANT Taper of dimension (b) can change due to adjustment of window guide depth (a) of rear door side window (1) in roof frame seal (20).

  6. Check taper of dimension (b) using SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge.

    IMPORTANT A taper of dimension (b) of max. 1 mm is permitted from top to bottom.

    In the case of a taper greater than 1 mm, this must be adjusted within the tolerances by changing the window guide depth of rear door side window (1) in roof frame seal (20).

  7. Open rear door.
  8. Switch on ignition.
  9. Lower/raise rear door side window (1) several times to check the settling properties.
  10. Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m).
  11. Close rear door.
  12. Check window guide depth (a) of rear door side window (1) in roof frame seal (20) again.

    If there is a problem,

    Repeat adjustment procedure.
