Adjust Height Of Front Side Window - AR67.30-P-0100-04FR

Adjust immersion depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof edge seal (20), shown on model 257 

  1. Close front door.
  2. Insert screwdriver (21) between the door paneling (22) and the front side window (1) in the setting screw (arrow C) of the front mount (24) of the window lifter (23).
  3. Adjust immersion depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof frame seal (20) by turning the setting screw (arrow C).

    IMPORTANT Turning the setting screw (arrow C) clockwise lowers the front side window (1) at the front.

    Turning the setting screw (arrow C) counterclockwise raises the front side window (1) at the front.

  4. Insert a screwdriver (21) between the door paneling (22) and the front side window (1) in the setting screw (arrow D) of the rear mount (25) of the window lifter (23).
  5. Adjust the immersion depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof frame seal (20) by turning the setting screw (arrow D).

    IMPORTANT Turning the setting screw (arrow D) clockwise lowers the front side window (1) at the back.

    Turning the setting screw (arrow D) counterclockwise raises the front side window (1) at the back.

    IMPORTANT Taper of dimension (b) can change due to adjustment of window guide depth (a) of front side window (1) in roof frame seal (20).

  6. Check taper of dimension (b) with SPECIAL TOOL feeler gauge.

    IMPORTANT A taper of dimension (b) of max. 1 mm is permitted from top to bottom.

    In the event of a taper greater than 1 mm, this must be adjusted within the tolerances by changing the immersion depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof frame seal (20).

  7. Open front door.
  8. Switch on ignition.
  9. To check the settling properties of the front side window (1), open and close it several times.
  10. Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (at least 2 m).
  11. Close front door.
  12. Check immersion depth (a) of the front side window (1) in the roof frame seal (20) again.

    If there is a problem,

    repeat adjustment procedure.
