Prepare Headliner For Installation - AR68.30-P-4305-16FRX

Shown with code 414 (sliding sunroof), with code 811 (advanced sound system) and with code 97B (engine noise reduction using speakers) 

1. Remove sun visor bracket (2) from old roof lining (1).

   Do not disconnect the electrical connectors.

2. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove sun visor mirror lamps (E14/1, E14/2) from old roof lining (1).
3. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove rear passenger compartment dome lamps (E11/1, E11/2) from old roof lining (1).
4. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove microphones for hands-free system (B25/20, B25/21) from old roof lining (1).
5. Model 290

   with code 97B (Engine noise reduction via speakers)

   Disconnect electrical connectors and remove microphones for rear passenger compartment active engine noise compensation (B25/30, B25/31) from old roof lining (1).

6. Model 290

   with code 811 (Advanced sound system)

   Disconnect electrical connectors and remove rear center mid-range speaker (3D sound) (H4/117, H4/118) from old roof lining (1).

7. Model 290

   with code 811 (Advanced sound system)

   Disconnect electrical connectors and remove center mid-range speaker (3D sound) (H4/119, H4/120) from old roof lining (1).

8. Expose electrical wiring harness (3) on old roof lining (1) and remove.

   Fasten electrical wiring harness (3) with adhesive tape.

   Observe routing of lines.

9. Install detachable parts on new roof lining (1) in reverse order.

    Install new dampings on new roof lining (1).

    Use the installation locations and the number of dampings from the old roof lining (1).
