Location
The armrest heater control unit is located in behind the left paneling in the trunk.
Tasks
The armrest heater control unit actuates the armrest heater in the front center console.
The armrest heater control unit directly actuates the front left center console armrest heating element (R16/13) and the front right center console armrest heating element (R16/14) as per the requirements of the rear SAM control unit (N10/8).
The armrest heating control unit directly reads in the signals of the following temperature sensors for the temperature monitoring of the heating elements:
- Left front center console armrest heating element temperature sensor (R16/13b1)
- Right front center console armrest heating element temperature sensor (R16/14b1)
