Rear Wheel Well Section Installation - Ar63.10-P-0662-03FRX

Model 290 

The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage on the right side of the vehicle, these steps must be performed analogously.

Additional information can be found in the superordinate service document.

The safety information in the superordinate service document must be observed.

1. Install outer rear wheel well (1) section, fit and fix in place.
2. Drill rivet holes in outer rear wheel well section (1) with ø 6.7 mm (area A).
3. Remove outer rear wheel well section (1).
4. Deburr rivet holes on outer rear wheel well section (1) and body on both sides.
5. Remove drilling chips.
6. Coat insides of riveted joints with zinc dust paint.

7. Install suitable spacers on rear fender at uniform intervals (area B).
8. Apply sealant on rear fender and foam part (areas B, C).

9. Install outer rear wheel well (1) section, fit and fix in place.
10. Rivet outer rear wheel well section (1) with rivets ø 6.4x12 (area D).
