	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove cover from center console.	Model 290	AR68.20-P-2350FRX
		Model 257	AR68.20-P-2350FR
3	Remove bolts (5).
4	Remove control unit bracket (8) far enough from device installation slot to gain access to electrical connectors (3, 4) at rear of head unit (A26/17).	Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
		Swivel control unit holder (8) at rear upward so that the hooks (arrows) become detached.
5	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4).	The number of electrical connections (4) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
6	Remove screws (7).
7	Remove head unit (A26/17).
8	Install in the reverse order.
9	Perform commissioning of head unit (A26/17).	When replacing head unit (A26/17).

10	Calibrate augmented reality camera (B84/14).	Model 257, 290 as of model year 2021 with code 21U (Video recording function (Dashcam)) Model 257, 290 as of model year 2021 with code U19 (Augmented reality video)
		When replacing head unit (A26/17).
