Remove/Install Ambiance Illumination Control Unit - AR82.20-P-0001FR
Model 257, 290 with code 891 (Premium ambiance illumination)

| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 2 | Remove floor covering at front on front passenger side. | AR68.80-P-0008FR | |
| 3 | Unscrew nuts (1) and remove footrest (2). | ||
| 4 | Unscrew nut (3) and place pre-fuse box in vehicle interior (F32/4) with attached electric lines to one side. | ||
| 5 | Unclip electric line (5) from holder (11). | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connectors (6) from powertrain control unit (N127). | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector (8) from park pawl capacitor (C8). | ||
| 8 | Unscrew nuts (10) and place holder (11) with control units into footwell. | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical connector (12) from ambient lighting control unit (N162). | ||
| 10 | Unscrew nut (13) and remove ambient lighting control unit (N162). | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order. |
