	Remove/install
1	Remove seat cushion padding.		AR91.10-P-5040FRX
		Model 290 with code 555 (AMG-Performance Seat)
		Model 257 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror)) Model 290 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror)) except code 555 (AMG-Performance Seat)	AR91.10-P-5040FRA

2.1	Remove sensor mat with weight sensing system (WSS) sensor from seat cushion frame (1).	Model 257, 290 with code U10 (Front passenger seat with weight sensor)
		When removing seat cushion frame (1) on front passenger side.	AR91.60-P-0720FR
2.2	Remove seat occupancy recognition from seat cushion frame (1).	Model 257, 290 except code U10 (Front passenger seat with weight sensor) When removing seat cushion frame (1) on front passenger side.

3	Remove retaining clip (5) and detach left and right wiring (4).
4	Disconnect electrical connector of electrical wiring harness (9).
5	Expose electric line on spring element (2) and on seat cushion frame (1).	The number of electrical connectors may vary depending on the equipment.
6	Unhook spring element (2) on seat adjustment unit, fold up and remove from seat cushion frame (1).
7	Unscrew bolt (7).	Model 257, 290 with code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror))
		Note left-hand thread of bolt (7).
		Replace bolt (7).
		Screw, seat cushion inclination electric motor linkage to seat cushion frame/seat adjustment unit upper part	*BA91.10-P-1004-01T
8	Remove bolts (6, 8).	Model 257, 290 except code 275 (Memory Package (driver's seat, steering column and mirror))
		Two screws/bolts (6) are installed.
		Replace screws/bolts (6, 8).
		Screw, seat cushion frame/seat adjustment unit upper part to front seat adjustment unit	*BA91.10-P-1006-01T
9	Unscrew bolts (3).	Screw/nut, seat cushion frame/seat adjustment unit upper part to rear seat adjustment unit	*BA91.10-P-1007-01T
10	Remove seat cushion frame (1).
11	Install in the reverse order
