| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 3 | Remove screw (1) at compressed-air reservoir (5). | ||
| 4 | Disconnect pneumatic lines (3, 4) at compressed-air reservoir (5). | Fig 1 | |
| 5 | Take pneumatic lines (3, 4) out of foam mount in cap (2). | ||
| 6 | Unclip cap (2). | ||
| 7 | Take multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) out of foam material (6) and place to one side. | Ensure that pneumatic lines (3, 4) and further pneumatic lines at terminal block on multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) do not kink. Leaks may occur otherwise. |

| 8 | Unclip pneumatic terminal block from multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40) using a suitable tool. | ||
| 9 | Disconnect electrical plug from multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40). | ||
| 10 | Remove multicontour seat pneumatic pump (M40). | ||
| 11 | Install in the reverse order |
