	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).	All electrical consumers must be switched off Otherwise, they may be damaged when the ground line (1) is disconnected/connected.
2.1	Remove dust filter with air duct segment.	Model 257, 290 except code B01 (48V technology)

2.2	Remove spare wheel well trim.	Model 257, 290 with code B01 (48V technology)

3	Disconnect charger of on-board electrical system battery (G1).	When an external charger is connected.
4	Disconnect diagnostic unit.	If a diagnostic device is connected.

5	Unfasten nut (2) and remove ground line (1) from negative pole of on-board electrical system battery (G1).	Model 257, 290 with code B01 (48V technology)
		The 48 V on-board electrical system switches off 12 V on-board electrical system support 10 s after disconnection of the ground line (1).

6	Connect in reverse order.
	Check
7	Check time display.	If the time is incorrect, ↓ set proper time.
