| 2 | Move cover (1) of engine compartment pre-fuse box (F32/3) until charging terminal point is exposed. | ||
| 3 | Clip charger POSITIVE terminal onto charging terminal point, then clip charger ground clamp onto ground terminal point (2). | ||

Do not reverse polarity. Otherwise a short circuit will cause damage. |

| 4 | Switch on charger. | ||
| 5 | Charge on-board electrical system battery. | ||
| Charge the on-board electrical system battery using an approved charger only. The on-board electrical system battery is sufficiently charged when the displayed charging current is < 5 A. |

| 6 | Switch off charger. | ||
| 7 | Disconnect charger ground clamp from ground terminal point (2), then disconnect charger POSITIVE terminal from charging terminal point. | ||
| 8 | Close cover (1) on engine compartment pre-fuse box (F32/3). |
