	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.		AR01.10-P-2405MSC
		: Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test.
2	Unclip electric line (3).
3	Release and disconnect electrical connector (7).
4	Remove lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) and seal threaded hole in catalytic converter with suitable stop plug.	: Coat thread of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) with heat-resistant lubricating paste.

5	Cover sensor tip of lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2) with protective cover.	When reusing lambda sensor upstream of catalytic converter (G3/2).

6	Install in the reverse order.
7	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8	Perform an engine test run; check the engine for proper operation and the exhaust system for leaks.
9	Install upper engine cover.		AR01.10-P-2405MSC
