| 1 | Remove left air filter housing. | AR09.10-P-1151MNO | |
| 2 | Remove screw (6) and place engine wiring harness (7) out of the working area. | *BA15.18-P-1001-01G | |
| 3 | Remove screw/bolt (2). | *BA09.41-P-1017-01X | |
| 4 | Remove purge line (1) from charge-air distributor (3) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Unhook purge line (1) and place outside the working area. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (4). | ||
| 7 | Remove screw (5) and remove left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4). | ||

| 8 | Check sealing ring of left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4) for damage. | If damage is present, ↓ replace left intake camshaft Hall sensor (B6/4). |
