	Risk of injury  to skin and eyes due to handling of engine oil. Risk of poisoning  caused by swallowing engine oil	Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses. Do not fill engine oil into beverage containers.	AS18.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Remove upper engine cover.		AR01.10-P-2405MSC
		: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.
2	Remove front noise insulation.
3	Release and disconnect electrical connection at CAMTRONIC actuator for intake cylinders 3 and 4 (Y49/20).
4	Remove electrical wiring harness from the CAMTRONIC actuator for intake cylinders 3 and 4 (Y49/20).
5	Remove screws/bolts (2).	: Replace screws (2).
		Screw, valve lift switching actuator to camshaft housing	*BA05.20-P-1002-04MRT
6	Remove cylinder 3 and 4 intake CAMTRONIC actuator (Y49/20) and seal opening with lint-free rag.	: Replace sealing ring.
7	Install in the reverse order.
8	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Check
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leaktightness and leaktightness.
10	Install upper engine cover.		AR01.10-P-2405MSC
