Topical note	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Commission display cluster for head unit/instrument cluster (A40/16).	If display cluster for head unit/instrument cluster (A40/16) is replaced.
			AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
2	Move steering wheel all the way to the rear and down.
3	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
4	Unclip and remove cover (2).	Long wedge	Fig 2
5	Unscrew screw/bolts (1).	Push display cluster for head unit/instrument cluster (A40/16) forward and tighten bolts (1).
6	Tilt display cluster for head unit/instrument cluster (A40/16) far enough until the catch hooks (3) move out of the guides (arrows).	Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
7	Release and disconnect the electrical connections (4).	The number of electrical connectors (4) varies depending on the vehicle equipment involved.
8	Remove head unit/instrument cluster display cluster (A40/16).
9	Install in the reverse order.
