Transfer the contact sockets individually one after the other.
Otherwise, it may lead to confusion.
The contact socket assignment can vary depending on the equipment variant.
Remove
- Release contact lock of old housing (1) (arrow a).
- Release contact socket (5) with
MCP 1.2 blade (3) and pull out of contact cavity (4).
If a contact socket (5) is removed in area (A).
Insert MCP 1.2 blade (3) vertically into contact cavity (4) and do not apply any leverage.
Otherwise damage may occur.
- Release contact socket (5) with
MCP 2.8_/Fl. 2.8_/JPT/SPT blade (2) and pull out of contact cavity (4).
If a contact socket (5) is removed in areas (B, C).
Insert MCP 2.8_/Fl. 2.8_/JPT/SPT blade (2) vertically into contact cavity (4).
Otherwise damage may occur.
Install
- Push contact socket (5) all the way into contact cavity (4) of new housing (1).
The contact socket (5) in area (A) must not be removed afterwards.
Otherwise, the mat seal will be damaged and the housing (1) will have to be replaced.
Ensure that the contact socket (5) is seated and positioned correctly in the contact cavity (4).
When the contact socket (5) engages correctly, a "click" should be heard.
- Check contact socket (5) is correctly seated by carefully pulling.
Pull carefully and in a controlled manner.
Otherwise, the contact socket (5) or the contact cavity (4) could be damaged.
- Lock contact lock of housing (1) (arrow b).
