Remove/Install 115V/230V Socket - AR54.10-P-1002MEM

Model 167.9 

With Code 224 (Individual rear seats) 

With Code M036 (Maybach version) 

With Code U67 (230 V socket in rear passenger compartment) 

Model 167.9

With Code U80 (115 V socket)

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.   AR54.10-P-0003ME 
2 Open cover of rear center console (1).    
3 Fold folding tables out of rear center console (1). Model 167.9 with code 224 (Individual rear seats) with code 449 (Folding table in the rear, left and right) with code M036 (Maybach version) with code U67 (230 V socket in rear passenger compartment) Model 167.9 with code 224 (Individual rear seats) with code 449 (Folding table in the rear, left and right) with code M036 (Maybach version) with code U80 (115 V socket)  
4 Unclip cover (2) (arrows) and remove until electrical connectors (3, 4) on rear side are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
Otherwise electrical lines may be damaged.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
5 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3, 4).    
6 Remove cover (2) with 115 V socket (X58/34) or 230 V socket (X58/44).    
7 Unclip 115 V socket (X58/34) or 230 V socket (X58/44) from cover (2) and remove. When replacing the 115 V socket (X58/34) or the 230 V socket (X58/44).  
8 Install in the reverse order.
