1. Drill through rivets on the crossmember under the rear seat (1) with a diameter of 6.5 mm (areas A).
2. Remove screws (2) from the crossmember under the rear seat (1).

3. Heat up crossmember under the rear seat (1) in the cross-hatched areas.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.

4. Remove crossmember under the rear seat (1).

5. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
6. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.
