1. Drill through rivets on the crossmember above the rear axle (1) with a diameter of 6.5 mm (areas A).
2. Expose and disconnect weld seams on the crossmember above the rear axle (1) (area B).
3. Remove nuts (2) from the crossmember above the rear axle (1).

4. Heat crossmember above the rear axle (1) in the cross-hatched area.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.

5. Remove crossmember above the rear axle (1).

6. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in cross-hatched areas.
7. Remove grinding dust and drill chips.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces (areas C).
