    NOTES
Do not use test equipment (3) for hydraulic oil systems on systems with brake fluid.
Otherwise, the brake fluid will be mixed with mineral oil, which can cause brake failure.

7 Bleed test equipment (3). IMPORTANT Observe manufacturer's operating instructions.
8 Start engine and run.
9 Depress brake pedal and insert brake pedal jack (4) with adapter between brake pedal and driver's seat. IMPORTANT Cover up brake pedal and driver's seat in brake pedal jack (4) system area.

10 Read off and note brake pressure on high-pressure manometer of test equipment (3).
11 Read off brake pressure again on high-pressure manometer of test equipment (3) after the specified test period and compare against previously-noted value. HAND-HELD TESTER Check values for leak test *BE42.10-P-1001-19A
If the brake pressure loss is too high.

Determine cause and replace defective component parts.

12 Switch off engine and remove brake pedal jack (4) with adapter.
13 Reduce vacuum in brake booster (5) by depressing brake pedal several times.
