- Pull tailgate trim handle (1) horizontally toward rear (arrow) and check that both attachment points are firmly seated.
The firm seating of tailgate trim handle (1) must be ensured.
A non-engaged clip can otherwise lead to a risk of injury during the opening/closing of the tailgate.
If a clip detaches during tensile test

Check clip, if necessary replace and repeat test.
