	Remove/install
1	Remove spare wheel with stowage tray in the load compartment.	Model 167.9 with code 669 (Spare tire on steel rim) with code 811 (Advanced sound system) with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) Model 167.9 with code 669 (Spare tire on steel rim) with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) with code U68 (Active engine sound generator)
2	Remove load compartment cover.
3	Remove partitioning net in load compartment.	Model 167.9 with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) with code U40 (Safety net for luggage cover)
4	Fold over backrest of left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2).
5	Unclip front section of trim (3) (arrows) and fold upward.	Long wedge	Fig 1
6	Unscrew screws (4) and remove trim (3).
7	Remove bolts (5).	Screw, seat frame base for 3rd seat row to body	*BA91.12-P-1016-03M
8	Move backrest of left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2) to upright position.
9	Move corresponding 2nd rear seat row seat to EASY-ENTRY position.
10	Remove trim (6).
11	Disconnect electrical connector of sitting surface heater pad.	Model 167.9 with code 845 (Electrically folding 3rd seat row) with code 886 (Seat heater for 3rd seat row) The electrical connector is located at the bottom of the seat frame base behind the trim (6).
12	Remove bolts_(7).	Screw, seat frame base for 3rd seat row to body	*BA91.12-P-1016-03M
13	Fold backrest of left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2) upward and fix in place.
14	Remove screws (8).	Screw, seat frame base for 3rd seat row to body	*BA91.12-P-1016-03M
15	Slide left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2) forward far enough until electrical connectors (9) are accessible.
16	Disconnect electrical connections (9).	The number of electrical connectors (9) varies depending on the vehicle equipment.
17	Remove left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2) from vehicle.	When removing the left 3rd rear seat row seat (1) or right 3rd rear seat row seat (2), do not touch any trim parts in the vehicle interior. Otherwise they may be damaged. Helper required.
18	Install in the reverse order.
