Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers. 	Remove/install
1	Remove cap from coolant expansion reservoir
2	Remove center, front, and right front lower Engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105ME
		: Only install center, front, and right front lower Engine compartment lining after leak test.
3	Release front section in right front fender liner.	Engine 256.9 in model 167 with code M016 (Uprated engine)

4	Clamp off, remove coolant hose (6) and seal openings with protective covers.	Engine 256.9 in model 167 with code M016 (Uprated engine)
			AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
		Collect escaping coolant in a suitable vessel.

5	Release and disconnect electrical connector on coolant hose (4).
6	Clamp off coolant hose (3, 4).	Clamp	Fig 3
7	Remove coolant hose (3, 4) from low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6), collect escaping coolant in a suitable container, and seal openings with protective covers.		AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ

8	Release and disconnect electrical connector o low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6).
9	Remove bracket (5) and low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6).
10	Install in the reverse order.
11	Connect diagnostic device and perform venting routine.
		Menu point: Powertrain control unit (N127)→ Adaptations→ Teach-in processes→ Bleeding of Engine cooling system of low-temperature circuit	AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
12	Check Engine cooling system for leak tightness.		AR20.00-P-1010MSC
13	Install center, front, and right front lower Engine compartment lining.		AR61.20-P-1105ME
