| 1 | Remove right or left rear wheel and tire assembly. | AR40.10-P-1102ME | |
| 2 | Remove side underfloor paneling at rear. | AR61.30-P-1001ME | |
| 3 | Clean area around brake line (6) and brake hose (2) in area of connecting points. | Before opening the brake system, the area surrounding the connecting point must be clean. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the brake system. |

| 4 | Unscrew union nut (5), remove brake hose (2) from brake line (6) and seal exposed connections using suitable stop plugs. | Seal connections immediately in order to prevent damage caused by escaping brake fluid. The brake caliper (1) must not run empty Otherwise, the brake caliper (1) must be replaced. Do not twist brake hose (2) and ensure correct routing. Otherwise, the brake hose (2) will be damaged. |

| 5 | Unclip brake hose (2) from holder (3). | ||
