General
The brake and traction system assists the driver in suddenly occurring dangerous situations and thus ensures active safety. It includes various subsystems that have a checking, optimizing or regulating function.
Function requirements
- Drive train operational
- Drive system active
- Brake and traction system functional
Function
To detect suddenly occurring dangerous situations, the brake and traction system captures the current driving situation. For this purpose, the following signals are captured:
- Left front axle wheel speed
- Right front axle wheel speed
- Left rear axle wheel speed
- Right rear axle wheel speed
- Steering angle
- Stop lamp switch
- Brake pressure
