| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 2 | Remove headliner. | Model 167.1/9 | AR68.30-P-4300ME |

| 3 | Insert a pair of pliers through the openings (arrows A) to press tabs (arrows B) together then remove retaining clamps (4). | ||
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2) from left windowbag squib (R12/22) or right windowbag squib (R12/23). | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Remove screw (3). | *BA91.60-P-1007-01R | |
| 6 | Remove window airbag (1) and put down on suitable base. | Handle window airbag (1) carefully. Otherwise, the remaining interior equipment or paint may be damaged. |

| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 8 | Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system. | If windowbag (1) was replaced. | |
