	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2.1	Remove right rear seat.	Model 167.1 with code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.9 except code M036 (Maybach version)
			AR91.12-P-4026ME
2.2	Remove seat bench in rear passenger compartment.	Model 167.1 except code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.3
			AR91.12-P-1021ME
2.3	Remove seat cushion in rear passenger compartment on right.	Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version)
			AR91.12-P-1021MEM
3	Remove trim (5) from seat frame base and drill out rivet of trim (7) located behind it.	Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) except code M036 (Maybach version)
4	Fold up shackles (6), drill out rivets located behind them and remove trim (7) from seat frame base.	Model 167.1 with code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) except code M036 (Maybach version) Model 167.9 with code 226 (7-seater with 3rd seat row)
5	Disconnect electrical connector (3).	Model 167 with code U01 (Status display for rear seat belts in instrument cluster) Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) with code U01 (Status display for rear seat belts in instrument cluster) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design) Two electrical connectors (3) are installed.
6.1	Unscrew screw (4) and remove right seat belt buckle (1) together with center seat belt buckle (2).	Model 167.1 except code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.3 Model 167.9 with code M036 (Maybach version) except code 224 (Rear individual seat design)
		Note correct installation position of right seat belt buckle (1) and center seat belt buckle (2).
		The right seat belt buckle (1) and center seat belt buckle (2) form a unit and must be removed together.

6.2	Unscrew screw (4) and remove right seat belt buckle (1).	Model 167.1 with code 567 (Vario rear seat) Model 167.9 with code 224 (Rear individual seat design) Model 167.9 with code 226 (7-seater with 3rd seat row)
		Note correct installation position of right seat belt buckle (1).
		Bolt, rear seat belt buckle	*BA91.40-P-1009-01U
7	Install in the reverse order.
