| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Release left or right seat backrest and fold over. | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (3) from release handle. | Fig 1 | |
| 3 | Unclip cover (2). | Unclip cover (2) first in direction of rear door and then upwards. Otherwise, there may be damage to the cover (2). |

| 4 | Unhook seat backrest trim (1) and seat backrest cover in area of seat backrest lock (4). | Fig 2 | |
| 5 | Detach seat backrest cover together with seat backrest padding far enough until seat backrest lock (4) and screws (5) are accessible. | Carefully detach seat backrest cover and seat backrest padding. Otherwise damage may occur. |

| 6 | Unscrew screws (5) and remove seat back/1 lock (4). | *BA91.12-P-1008-03M | |
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. |
