| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Bring down corresponding side window of the front door. | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||
| 3 | Release covers (2) with long wedge (01) from the door trim (1) on the driver's side and front passenger side and remove in the direction of travel. | Fig 1 | |
| 4 | Remove screw/bolts (3). | ||
| 5 | Unclip door trim (1) starting from the bottom and pull out of the inner sealing rail (4). | Ensure that the plastic clips are seated correctly on the door trim (1). They will be damaged otherwise. |

| 6 | Guide door pin (5) out of the door trim (1). | ||
| 7 | Lift door trim (1) until the electrical connectors (6) are accessible. | Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability. |

| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6). | ||
| 9 | Unhook wire of the inside door opener (8). | ||
| 10 | Unclip electrical wiring harness from the door trim (1). | ||
| 11 | Remove door trim (1). | ||
| Check | |||
| 12 | Check plastic clips of the door trim (1) for damage. | If plastic clips are damaged, ↓ replace plastic clips. |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order. |
