Remove/Install Front Door Panel - AR72.10-P-6575ME

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Bring down corresponding side window of the front door.    
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
3 Release covers (2) with long wedge (01) from the door trim (1) on the driver's side and front passenger side and remove in the direction of travel. SPECIAL TOOL Long wedge Fig 1
4 Remove screw/bolts (3).    
5 Unclip door trim (1) starting from the bottom and pull out of the inner sealing rail (4). INSTALLATION NOTES
Ensure that the plastic clips are seated correctly on the door trim (1). They will be damaged otherwise.
 
6 Guide door pin (5) out of the door trim (1).    
7 Lift door trim (1) until the electrical connectors (6) are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension This will result in damage to the lines which may impair their functional capability.
 
8 Release and disconnect electrical connectors (6). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors (6) varies depending on the vehicle equipment.  
9 Unhook wire of the inside door opener (8). IMPORTANT Install new crown clip on the inside door opener (8).  
10 Unclip electrical wiring harness from the door trim (1).    
11 Remove door trim (1).    
INSPECT Check     
12 Check plastic clips of the door trim (1) for damage. If plastic clips are damaged,

replace plastic clips.
 
13 Install in the reverse order.
