	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Unclip and remove trim (1) at rear seat on left or right from catch hooks (2).	Make sure that the trim (1) is seated correctly.
3	Release and disconnect electrical connectors (3), then remove from control unit bracket (5).	The number of electrical connectors (3) varies depending on the vehicle equipment.
4	Separate cable ties of electrical lines from control unit bracket (5).	Replace cable ties.
5	Release electrical connectors (6), disconnect and remove from control unit bracket (5).	The number of electrical connectors (6) varies depending on the vehicle equipment.
6	Release catch hooks (4) of control unit bracket (5) and swivel control unit bracket (5) with left rear seat control unit (N32/5) or right rear seat control unit (N32/6) forwards.
7	Release catch hooks (7) and remove left rear seat control unit (N32/5) or right rear seat control unit (N32/6) from control unit bracket (5).	Check for correct seating of left rear seat control unit (N32/5) or right rear seat control unit (N32/6).
8	Install in the reverse order.
